Ovchinsky: 35 Homes for the Renovation Program Will Be Built in the Mozhaisk District of Moscow

The Moscow Renovation Fund has identified contractors for the design and construction of another 35 homes in the Western Administrative District. This was announced by Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department of Urban Planning Policy, which is part of the Complex of Urban Planning Policy and Construction of the City of Moscow.

The contractors were selected through open tenders within three lots. The new buildings will be erected, including on the site of old houses included in the renovation program.

«New buildings with a total apartment area of more than 742.8 thousand square meters will be built in the Mozhaisk district of Moscow for the implementation of the renovation program. In total, 35 new residential complexes will be built on sites with a total area of more than 22.1 hectares. In addition, the construction of local roads from the Mozhaiskoye Shosse bypass to Kubinka Street and from Govorova Street to Tolbukhina Street is planned to provide transport support for the new houses,» said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The buildings will be constructed taking into account the principles of a barrier-free environment. The entrance groups will be located at the same level as the street, and there will be no thresholds and steps in the entrances. The houses will be equipped with large elevators, which will be comfortable for low-mobility citizens, including those in wheelchairs, and parents with strollers.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin spoke about the results of the renovation program for the first half of 2025.
